Serenading the Plateau since 2018

*Plateau Women's Chorus and Young Singers, performance of HOPE LINGERS ON at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church, November 9, 2025
The Plateau Women’s Chorus provides the women of Cumberland County with the opportunity to express themselves by performing music written for women and by women. We seek to offer encouragement, community and inspiration to our audience and members. PWC rehearsals nurture artistic excellence as we celebrate our shared humanity through the unifying power of choral music.

Is singing your thing? The Plateau Women’s Chorus is currently auditioning new members and invites you to join our sisterhood of singers. PWC is a Crossville community chorus that welcomes women from teens to homemakers, professionals and women retired from all walks of life. More than just singing, our choir is a supportive community. We value creativity, lasting friendships, and the unique contribution of each member.
If you’re looking for a fulfilling musical experience, reach out to PWC Director, Dana Beal at plateauwomenschorus@gmail.com or phone/text (305) 393-2278 to schedule an audition where you will meet with Dana and talk about your singing experiences.
PWC registration and brunch will take place on Saturday, January 31 from 9:30-12 in the old sanctuary at Crossville First Methodist Church, 100 Braun Street. All new singers are assigned a mentor from their section to answer questions and provide support. Rehearsals are scheduled for Tuesdays February 3 – March 24 from 3:30-5:30 PM in the sanctuary at Crossville First Methodist Church.
Come and experience the joy of making music together and connect with fellow music lovers!

Spring 2026 "Swift to Love"
in remembrance of GerriAnne Mason

This season Plateau Women's Chorus celebrates the life of a founding member and board member - GerriAnne Mason. GerriAnne passed unexpectedly December 31, 2025. She is remembered for her kindness, vitality and generosity.
GerriAnne sang in Master Singers of Cookeville, Plateau Women's Chorus, The St Francis Catholic Church Choir and Sweet Assurance Ladies Ensemble. She volunteered at her church, was a national bridge champion and her many grandchildren called her "Grannie-Anne". We will all miss her more than words can express.
GerriAnne was indeed "swift to love".

"Swift to Love" promises a musical message that is quick, eager and urgent in showing affection, kindness and support and carries a sense of seizing the moment - life is short and opportunities for connection are fleeting.
Renée Tatum is our guest artist for “Swift to Love”. Noted for her “commanding and dramatic presence” (Opera News), mezzosoprano Renée Tatum continues to garner recognition in the most demanding of operatic repertoire. She sang the contralto solos for “Messiah” at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church this past November and the PWC is excited to have her sing with us this season.
