A Message of Strength and Perseverance

"What is this life if, full of care.  We have no time to stand and stare."

by William Henry Davis, Leisure

Plateau Women's Chorus has an inspiring season in store for their audience, featuring guest composer and conductor Andrea Ramsey.

Andrea Ramsey is a composer, conductor, scholar, and music educator. She has nearly 200 pieces in her body of compositions and enjoys working with singers of all ages and abilities. This season PWC will premier her latest composition, "Leisure," based on the poem of the same name by William Henry Davis.

The sound of children singing is a common occurrence at all Plateau Women's Chorus performances; the Young Singers of the Plateau will bring their energy, talent, and passion for music to our fall concert series.  Young Singers will be performing the witty and fun Andrea Ramsey composition, "Three Quotes by Mark Twain."

We look forward to seeing you at hope lingers on and to sharing a uniquely uplifting music experience.

Cantique de Jean Racine by Faure' is one of the great pieces of music literature that everyone should experience in their lifetime. Every vocal part is melodic. It's a French paraphrase of a Latin hymn written in 1688.  Nineteen year old Gabriel Faure' set the text in 1865 and it won first prize in a composition contest.

A Gaelic Blessing is accompanied by harp and strings, offering a gentle benediction of peace.
